Registration
Membership runs for the year (1 April – 31 March) and includes use of the track, weekly club nights during summer, winter harriers runs, free summer coaching for Development and Senior squads, free Club and InterClub events in Northland, and eligibility and support for Regional and National Athletics NZ competitions.Registration is required within 14 days of your first club night and is completed online. Athletics is run by volunteers, and we welcome member support across club nights, events, and administration. Junior members require a parent volunteer for two evenings per season. Coaching and officials courses are also available through Athletics Northland.

FULL SEASON Q1 – Q4 (1 April 2026 – 31 March 2027)
12 month membership (from Date of Registration to expiring 12 months later)
OPTION 1: FULL SEASON and 12 MONTH MEMBERSHIP
Active Member : 6 Years and under
FULL SEASON (Q1 – Q4) $50.00
Members born in 2020 or later, who participate in Club Nights and/or Club Runs.
Active Member : 7 - 14 Years
FULL SEASON (Q1 – Q4) $100.00
Members born between 2012 - 2019, who participate in Club Nights and/or Club Runs and other competitive activities.
Active (Competitive) Member : 15 – 19 Years
FULL SEASON (Q1 – Q4) $115.00
For members born between 2007 – 2011, who participate in any activities the Club and Centre may offer, which are generally considered of a competitive nature. This includes inter-club, Centre Championships, National Championships, etc.
Active (Competitive) Member : 20 - 22 Years
12 MONTH MEMBERSHIP $125.00
For members born between 2004 – 2006, who participate in any activities the Club and Centre may offer, which are generally considered of a competitive nature. This includes inter-club, Centre Championships, National Championships, etc.
Active (Competitive) Member : 23 - 64 Years
12 MONTH MEMBERSHIP $145.00
For members born between 1962 – 2003, who participate in any activities the Club and Centre may offer, which are generally considered of a competitive nature. This includes inter-club, Centre Championships, National Championships, etc.
Active (Competitive) Member : 65+ Years

For members born in 1961 or earlier, who participate in any activities the Club and Centre may offer, which are generally considered of a competitive nature. This includes inter-club, Centre Championships, National Championships, etc.
Social Member : 15 Years and Over
12 MONTH MEMBERSHIP $95.00
A social member is defined as a Club member born in 2011 or earlier, who only participates at club nights and club runs. This generally does not include competitions offered through the Centre or Inter-Club competitions. Some clubs have “friendly, non-competitive runs”, these are considered to be social for membership purposes.
Club Volunteer : 15 Years and Over
FULL SEASON (Q1 – Q4) $20.00
Volunteers are defined as members that give their time freely to the club, but do not take part in the club nights and club runs, as a participant. For example: committee members, supporters and friends.
